St. Paul’s is a spiritual home and welcoming community to people of all ages, generations, educational backgrounds, financial means, abilities and disabilities, races, ethnicities and nationalities, without regard to sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, with many different family and religious backgrounds. Some of us are lifelong Episcopalians; some were raised in other Protestant denominations or in the Roman Catholic Church; some are new to the Christian faith; some are not quite sure what they believe. There is a place here for you.
Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Regularly scheduled lunch groups, supper clubs, parish dinner events and musical concerts allow our parishioners to form close relationships with one another. Interest groups meet during the week to play bridge or to discuss the latest best seller. On Sundays, many people follow worship with a cup of coffee and a visit to the donut table. Young or young at heart, there someone to connect to at St. Paul’s.
Our education or formation as Christians does not end with Sunday School and Confirmation.
Formation begins at infancy and continues throughout our life. We are continuing to be educated and formed in our faith and spirituality, not just learning more, but understanding more about the person God has created us to be and our relationship with God who loves and forgives us. We mature in our faith and try to live into the promises we make in our Baptismal Covenant.

Adult Forum takes place on most Sunday mornings during the program year from 9:45 to 10:30 AM. Clergy and parishioners of St. Paul’s, share in presenting the Sunday morning offerings, covering a range of topics relating to scripture, theology, social justice, outreach and spirituality. Some topics are covered over several Sundays, others are one-time programs. The sessions are informal and questions and participation from parishioners are encouraged. Begin your Sunday morning by worshiping at the 8:45AM service and staying for coffee hour and the Adult Forum, or begin with coffee hour and Adult Forum and stay for the 10:45 service.
St. Paul’s Small Groups meet at various times throughout the week to read and discuss a common text or prayer. Small groups provide mutual support. Each has its own leader and meeting location. You are welcome to join a small group at any time. Many people stay with their same group throughout the year, and some join just because they are interested in a book or topic being discussed at a certain time. Please look for group leaders and meeting times.
Are you new to St. Paul’s, and trying to figure out the parish? Do you want to get connected or reconnected with the church during this time? Have you been here for a while, and want to learn more about the Episcopal Church or still find yourself wondering what’s going on? Do you have questions you want to talk about? Join us for St. Paul’s 101, an overview of our parish and the Episcopal Church. This class also would serve as preparation for adults who are interested in being formally confirmed or received in the Episcopal Church.
To register or for more information, contact the Rev. Noah Evans at [email protected] or at (412) 531-7153 x11.
Join us each Wednesday at noon for St. Paul’s Rector-led Bible study. We will continue to meet each week for one hour. You are invited to come (bring a lunch) as we share God’s word together. Let Noah know if you have any questions, or would like to join in…or just show up. Everyone is welcome!
Pastoral care ministries make the love of God visible for parishioners. Clergy are available on a daily basis to talk to those wishing guidance, and visit parishioners in hospitals and at home if needed. The pastoral care hotline answers 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies such as accidents or to provide ministration to the dying: call (412)531-7153 and press 5. In addition, the members of St. Paul’s provide pastoral care through a number of ministries.
We livestream our services on Sundays at 10:45 am. Click here to watch on Facebook.
