Join us at Harvest Fest this year, benefiting Trinity Cathedral’s Walk-In Ministry!
For many years, St. Paul’s has supported Trinity Cathedral’s Walk-In Ministry, which is run by the Downtown Pittsburgh Ministerium partner churches. The Walk-in Ministry serves a variety of needs for anyone who walks in seeking services. The needs presented are many: emergency food, prescription medication, shelter, transportation to medical appointments or employment, aid in applying for all manner of governmentally supported social programs, eye glasses, and more.
St. Paul’s parishioners of all ages has supported Trinity’s Walk-In Ministry with in-kind and monetary donations, as well as providing volunteers to help on-site each month. They have donated blankets and winter clothing, underwear, canned goods and can openers, feminine hygiene products, and more.
St. Paul’s has held its Harvest Fest fundraiser for our Outreach Ministries for many years. When we learned of the challenge of funding cuts at Trinity Walk-In from St. Paul’s volunteers, it seemed that Harvest Fest was a great way to continue our longstanding support of this critical outreach ministry.
Join us for delicious fall food, a brief presentation about Trinity Walk-In Ministry, and live music during dinner. Buy tickets here; you can also make an additional donation if you chose to. We thank you for your continued and enthusiastic support at this important time!
