From the Rector: Our 100th Easter!

Dear Friends:

St. Paul’s is celebrating its hundredth year serving Pittsburgh’s South Hills! That means this year, we will celebrate our 100th Easter in Mt. Lebanon. In the walk of Holy Week, we mark the beauty and cost of the perfect love that we know in the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate Christ’s victory over death. During this special Holy Week – from Palm Sunday to Easter – our Undercroft will also be filled with special displays of photos and memorabilia from the last century of service. Join us this Holy Week and Easter as we walk with Jesus to the cross and tomb and through Resurrection Life, and as we continue to celebrate our Century of service to our community.

St. Paul’s Centennial Displays During Holy Week– As part of our 100th Anniversary celebration, we will have special displays set up in the Undercroft Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter Sunday. These displays will provide a chance to reflect on the history and growth of our community over the past century. The displays will feature significant moments, pictures, artifacts, and stories from our journey. We invite you to visit and take extra time to appreciate the story of this community.

St. Paul’s relies on gifts like yours to continue to serve the local community and the wider world and help us to be inspired and grow into taking the risk of love. We cannot do it without your critical support. The generosity of those who surround this Church allows us to continue our work. You can make your Easter gift here, or by sending a check in the mail.

I pray that you will give generously when you make your Easter gift to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Thank you!

Peace,

The Reverend Noah H. Evans, Rector
