Centennial Pilgrimage to the Hill District
Commemorate St. Paul’s 100th year in Mt. Lebanon by visiting the sites of its origin in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, and learning about the history of the neighborhoods there. Each date is limited to 15 people, so please make sure to RSVP to the Rev. Erin Morey [email protected].
Groups will meet at St. Paul’s and carpool together. Meals will not be served, so please plan to bring $20 to purchase drinks and snacks from local businesses. All ages and abilities are welcome; but please note that while we will be driving between most sites, participants will also walk short distances (approximately one-quarter mile).
The June 28 and July 13 dates will also specifically be planned with children and families in mind. Activities will vary by date, but participants can expect to visit the original sites of St. Paul’s and other historic sites (such as and August Wilson museum and Freedom Corner); and engage in service projects with community partners.
