Sound System Upgrades and so much more!

Dear Friends,

Upgraded microphones and an upgraded hearing assistance system were installed in our sanctuary last week! The St. Paul’s 100th Anniversary Campaign funded these system improvements. The new equipment in the sanctuary and parish hall will allow everyone to experience the prayers and music of worship and participate in parish gatherings equally. The improvements include a new hearing assistance system for those with hearing loss. The new hearing assistance system is accessible via a wireless app on your phone or on a handheld receiver that you can pick up in the church. User guides and handheld receivers are located at both entrances.  You can also download the guide here.

I am also excited to share the video for St. Paul’s 100th Anniversary Campaign with you- it showcases our values as a parish. You can see it above or click here to watch.

St. Paul’s aspires to have our physical property reflect our values: welcome, inclusion, acceptance and belonging. Our parish leadership has identified a project list designed to allow our parish home to extend a sense of these values to everyone. The list includes refurbishing St. Margaret’s Garden, overhauling our 30-year-old elevator, improvements to our well-used kitchen, installing a permanent ramp to enter our worship space, continued restoration of stained glass, updates to the electronics of our pipe organ, updates to our sound systems, renovations to bathrooms, and other items.

I am deeply grateful for those who already have made pledges and gifts to this important Campaign.  Their sacrificial giving is having a demonstrated impact on the mission of our parish. This campaign is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s about legacy. It’s about ensuring that St. Paul’s continues to be a beacon of faith, love, and service for decades to come, for the next 100 years. You can learn more about the 100th Anniversary Campaign on the Campaign webpage.

We are having individual conversations with members of our congregation about continuing the Campaign.  Please contact the parish office at (412) 531-7153 x 10 to arrange a time to have a conversation about how you can make a pledge to this Campaign.

Peace,
Noah
