Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ meets us not as an abstract idea, but as a living promise: that God is always bringing life out of death, hope out of despair, and possibility out of what feels finished.

We continue to live in a time when it can be difficult to trust that promise. The world around us still carries its share of uncertainty, division, and weariness. Many of us carry our own quieter burdens as well—grief, anxiety, or simply the exhaustion of trying to keep going. And yet, Easter does not ask us to ignore these realities. Instead, it proclaims that God meets us precisely there.

Resurrection is not the denial of death—it is God’s answer to it.

In Jesus, we see that love is stronger than fear, that life is stronger than death, and that God is always at work, even when we cannot yet see what is being made new. Easter invites us to trust that the same power that raised Jesus is at work in us, in our community, and in the world right now.

This Holy Week and Easter, I invite you to walk that story again—to move with Jesus from the joy of Palm Sunday, through the vulnerability and cost of love in the days that follow, and into the surprising, world-changing joy of the Resurrection.
