SUMMARY:Adult Forum: Faith and Politics
DESCRIPTION:Led by The Rev. Noah Evans\, Rector \n in the Undercroft \n Join us for a special Sunday Forum as our Rector\, The Rev. Noah Evans\, leads a thoughtful and timely conversation on Faith and Politics. As we navigate the current complicated political climate\, consider our responsibilities as citizens and people of faith. This forum will explore how our Christian identity informs our engagement with the public square. We’ll reflect on questions such as: What does the Episcopal Church teach about political involvement? How can we speak across political differences while remaining grounded in love and truth? What does it mean to follow Jesus in a polarized society? What is the impact of the new IRS rules that allow faith communities to endorse political candidates? This is a space for respectful dialogue and deep reflection.

SUMMARY:Centennial Pilgrimage to the Hill District
DESCRIPTION:Commemorate St. Paul’s 100th year in Mt. Lebanon by visiting the sites of its origin in Pittsburgh’s Hill District\, and learning about the history of the neighborhoods there. Each date is limited to 15 people\, so please make sure to RSVP to the Rev. Erin Morey erin@stpaulspgh.org. \n Groups will meet at St. Paul’s and carpool together. Meals will not be served\, so please plan to bring $20 to purchase drinks and snacks from local businesses. All ages and abilities are welcome; but please note that while we will be driving between most sites\, participants will also walk short distances (approximately one-quarter mile). \n The June 28 and July 13 dates will also specifically be planned with children and families in mind. Activities will vary by date\, but participants can expect to visit the original sites of St. Paul’s and other historic sites (such as and August Wilson museum and Freedom Corner); and engage in service projects with community partners.
